All three of those stories and more are forthcoming once I find the time to adequately process the experiences I've had.
Tomorrow I head to Kibbutz Deganya (the first kibbutz in Israel), for a Shabbat with all the people from my group. I expect to update you about that upon my arrival home to Haifa in 2 days time.
Apologetically,
Zach

What exactly did you learn in your training and what are you expected to do with the ambulance core?
I laughed out loud when I read dad's comment. It was so serious.
But really, update. I depend on your blogs for distractions from studying.
Dear Zach,
It's nice to get another update. We've never been to Poland. Many years ago, the old rabbi from the shul went there. He came back and gave a lecture along with pictures that he took. He felt that anti-semitism still existed there. I wonder how you felt. I understand you went to Prague also. We were there with Jonah and Sara. Jonah had been there previously as well. We all loved Prague. Everyone who goes there says the same thing. The Jewish Quarter is very interesting, especially the cemetery. Your parents are coming with Rachel to our house on Sunday to celebrate Chanukah. We're going to miss you. It's very difficult to get this whole family together now. We'll be taking Rachel into the city when we drive Sara home. I think she's staying with friends until your parents and Rachel leave for Israel. I understand that your parents might try to see the long-lost relatives that Cousin Barbara has been researching. I think it's great that she's trying to create a family tree. Well, keep informing us. Have a happy and healthy Chanukah and New Year. Have a great time with your family.
Love ya,
Susie
